The Statues of La Sagrada Familia

The angled jaw with saddened eyes
A look so deep with no surprise
They've seen the world and all its woes
And fought the devil and his foes
A tapestry of woven life
Occasional smiles within the strife
And now to stand and guard with might
The entrance to the wall of light
As from the spires it cascades down
Removing darkness and those frowns
Such vivid colours through the glass
When through those mighty doors we pass
A melee of industrious toil
As creativity starts to boil
Producing more extraordinary sights
To see each morning, noon and night
